Transfer to Personal Representative (Form LRA 39)

ABOUT THIS DOCUMENT
This Transfer Form is required to transfer land to a Personal Representative of an Estate of a deceased person.
The application comprises of a Booking form – Form LRA 9 and Transfer to the personal representative – Form LRA 39.
REQUIREMENTS
• Land Title Number.
• Grant of Representation.
• Name, ID, PIN and address of Administrators or Executors.
PROCEDURE
• Fill in this transfer form.
• The parties must sign the transfer before an Advocate.
• Stamp and register the transfer at the appropriate Land Registry within 30 days.

NB: This is this form should be registered together with form LRA 42 to transfer the property to a beneficiary or form LRA 43 to transfer the property to a purchaser.
