Transfer of Land by a Liquidator (Forms LRA 9 and 48)

ABOUT THIS DOCUMENT

This is a Transfer if land by a Liquidator to a purchaser or creditor.

It comprises of a Booking form – Form LRA 9 and Transfer by a Liquidator – Form LRA 48.

REQUIREMENTS

• Land Title Number.
• Name, ID, PIN and address of Liquidator.
• Name, address and registered office of the Purchaser.
• Copy of instrument appointing the Liquidator i.e. Members/Creditors Resolution or Court Order.
• Consideration price.

PROCEDURE

• Fill in this transfer form.
• The parties must sign the transfer before an Advocate.
• Value, Stamp and register the transfer at the appropriate Land Registry within 30 days.
