Application to be registered as Liquidator (Forms LRA 9, 46 and 47)

ABOUT THIS DOCUMENT
This application is made by a Liquidator to be registered on the title.

It comprises of a Booking form – Form LRA 9, Application to be registered as a Liquidator – Form LRA 46 and Statutory declaration – Form LRA 47

REQUIREMENTS
• Land Title Number.
• Name, ID, PIN and address of Liquidator.
• Name of Registered Land Owner.
• Copy of instrument appointing the Liquidator i.e. Members/Creditors Resolution in the prescribed form or Court Order.

PROCEDURE
• Fill in this application form.
• The Liquidator must sign the Application before an Advocate.
• For Liquidation by way of Shareholders or Creditors resolution, the resolution must be certified by the company secretary or a Notary public in the case of a foreign Company.
• Swear the affidavit before a Commissioner for oaths, Notary Public, Magistrate or Consular officer.
• Stamp (with nominal stamp duty) and register the transfer at the appropriate Land Registry within 30 days.
